The Dragons' Den. Wanted: One or more Dragons
Another idea that I am considering, to get my work into print and, ultimately, to you, the readers, is to seek the services of a 'Dragon'. Confused? Let me explain...
Inspired by the phenomenal success and huge popularity of the BBC television programme ‘The Dragons’ Den’, where would-be entrepreneurs showcase their ideas, offering a percentage of their business to one or more ‘Dragon’, in exchange for them investing in it, and taking an active role in its promation, I might be prepared to do likewise…
The ‘Dragon’ in question (though not necessarily from the television programme) will be someone who has connections in the publishing business, someone fully committed to promoting my work, to get it into the shops and ultimately to you, the readers. In exchange for this help, I am prepared to offer a percentage of the profits, enough to give any would-be'Dragon' the incentive to make this partnership a resounding success.
