Mum had a bad memory so she named me Fle (that's Elf spelt backwards, you know. She thought it would be easier for her to remember, that way).
"My name is Mortar," said the little man who was attempting to play the biggest set of bagpipes that Alice had ever seen. "And if you really want to find yourself, Alice, you must first work out what my name actually means."
